Dalton Park recognised with prestigious Fitwell 2-star certification

Dalton Park has achieved a prestigious 2-Star Fitwel Certification, recognising its long-term commitment to creating a healthier, safer and more sustainable environment for employees, retailers and the millions of visitors who enjoy the outlet each year.

The internationally recognised accreditation is awarded by Fitwel, the world's leading healthy building certification system, and assesses how buildings support the health, wellbeing and everyday experience of the people who use them. A 2-Star certification recognises organisations that have gone well beyond baseline health and wellbeing standards, embedding these principles throughout both their physical environment and day-to-day operations.
The certification follows a rigorous two-year assessment process, with Dalton Park independently recognised for its investment in sustainable travel, biodiversity, environmental management, employee wellbeing and workplace facilities, alongside operational policies that place health and wellbeing at the heart of the centre's everyday management.
While many of the initiatives focus on supporting employees and retail partners, visitors also benefit from Dalton Park's continued investment in creating a healthier destination. From landscaped green spaces and biodiversity projects to improved walking routes, cycling facilities and well-maintained outdoor environments, the measures help create a more welcoming and sustainable place to shop, work and spend time.
