Dalton Park celebrates the start of the festive season on Saturday 8 November with its Christmas lights switch-on and firework spectacular

Dalton Park is launching its Christmas festivities with a dazzling line-up of celebrations on Saturday 8th November. From a VIP Christmas light switch-on to a captivating firework display and the grand opening of Santa’s Grotto, Dalton Park is the ultimate place for festive fun this Christmas.

From 4:30pm, visitors are invited to experience enchanting entertainment throughout the outlet, with roaming performers that include stilt walking Christmas clowns, comical elves, mischievous characters, and a Toy Soldier brass band.
The night will be hosted by comedian Alfie Joey, while special guest and former England footballer, Steph Houghton, will be leading the countdown and switching on Dalton Park’s sparkling new Christmas lights, including a stunning LED Christmas tree centre piece. This will be followed by a spectacular firework display over the Parkland, lighting up the night in celebration of the spirit of the season.
Also on Saturday 8th November, Dalton Park's much loved Santa’s Grotto will be opening and spreading Christmas joy every weekend in the lead up to Christmas, as well as on Monday 22nd, Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th December. Children can meet Santa and his elves and share their Christmas wishes for just £6 a child, with the option of a photograph for an additional £2.50.
In addition to all the fun activity, Dalton Park’s stores and restaurants will remain open until 8:30pm on Saturday 8th November – allowing customers to soak up the Christmas spirit while enjoying big brand shopping at outlet prices of up to 70% off.
Then on Sunday 9th November, Dalton Park will be welcoming back its much-anticipated Winter Artisan Market with an array of stalls showcasing unique handcrafted products, the market brings together the very best local artisans and celebrates their craftsmanship. From tasty food stalls to finding the ideal gift, the market makes for the perfect festive day out. Visitors to Dalton Park can also take advantage of late-night shopping from Friday 28th November (Black Friday) until Tuesday 23rd December, with stores open until 7pm from Monday through to Saturday. Sunday hours will remain as usual, from 10:30am to 4:30pm. There’s also the added convenience of free of charge parking throughout the festive season and beyond!
