Introducing Durham Fringe Festival 26th-30th July 2023.
5 days packed full of fringe art and culture, hosted across Durham City Centre.
Durham Fringe Festival 2023 will have something for everyone, with Music, Comedy, Dance, Theatre, Magic, Family Friendly Fun, Musical Theatre Circus, Mime and more, in a collection of cosy alternative venues, within easy reach of public transport links and carparks in Durham City. There’s room for 2 or 3 shows an evening with time to refuel too, enjoying Durham City Centre’s restaurants and bars as you amble between venues.
A full program of events will be released in April 2023, with show times and venues, so you can begin planning your July trip to Durham and the surrounding area. Shows will take place both during the day as well as in the evenings, with most performers showing more than once; allowing you to explore Durham City and the rest of the county without missing any shows.

* Durham Fringe Festival is due to take place during the last week of July 2023, with shows running during the day as well as the evenings from Wednesday the 26th to Sunday the 30th of July.

The Durham Fringe Festival takes place across the city, in cozy alternative venues. All venues are within a short walking distance of eachother, and can be easily reached from Durham Train station and major city centre bus routes. A full program will be released in April, showing venues and respective shows, so you can begin planning your July Durham Trip!
