In Durham City you can experience our amazing history and heritage as you marvel at the awe-inspiring Durham Cathedral and Castle UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Get hands on with history at England’s largest open air museum in the Vale of Durham as you explore Beamish – The Living Museum of the North. Plus, don't miss 11Arches Park, the region's newest family attraction. Spend the afternoon getting close to nature, exploring the Viking village, and enjoying immersive live action shows before taking your seat for Kynren, an Epic Tale of England the spectacular live open air night show (Every Saturday from the 7 August to the 11 September).
