AboutStart at Territorial Lane, Durham City Centre, following to Elvet Waterside.
Turn right crossing Baths Bridge and turn right again to following River (opposite to Sports Ground and Pavilion).
At Old Durham Farm join NCN Route 14, continue to Dragonville passing Retail Park on left.
Turn right onto Rennys Lane crossing over A1.
Follow Rennys Lane NCN 14 on traffic free cycle route passing the outskirts of Belmont residential estate on your left.
Carry onto Railway Line at this point. Continue on NCN 14 which will bear right towards Sherburn.
On entering Sherburn passing Sports Centre on your left, turn left onto Sherburn Front Street then bear left onto Nelson Terrace, continue on road which will adjoin Cooks Hold Lane.
Passing Cookshold Farm continue on this road and you will reach a T Junction turning right onto Coalford Lane.
Continue for approximately 1.5 miles passing Haswell Moor Farm. You will now reach Durham Lane in Haswell. Return on this route back to Durham City Centre.
