Derwent is located just off the A68, four miles west of Castleside and nine miles from the A69, and is our most popular fishery. There is lots of bank space to choose from for the perfect spot and the dam wall is available for coarse anglers.
For those who are new to fishing, you can book a 'try it lesson' and learn a fantastic new lifelong skill, which has a number of health benefits. Lessons cost £15 for a child and £20 for an adult and are generally held on Tuesdays and Sundays, with a number of evening sessions available throughout the summer.
