As well as being a must see architectural gem, the shop offers a wide range of locally-sourced, bespoke gifts which reflect the Cathedral’s aims and values. Crushed Chilli Glass coasters and plates made by local glass craftswoman Janet Rodgers, a Durham Cathedral Sculpture and a Sanctuary knocker made out of coal, a selection of souvenirs suitable for children and works by local visual artists including the Norman Wade collection.
The Shop continues to be the most established theological book stockist in Northern England.
