At Turtle Bay, we are all about bringing Caribbean good times to you.
A unique combination of warm, social atmosphere and vibrant design, mixed with delicious Caribbean inspired dishes and signature rum cocktails throughout the day and into the evening, delivered by our fabulous team. All to the beat of a reggae soundtrack.
From jerk chicken to fiery curry goat, vegan dishes packed with punchy Caribbean flavour, delicious desserts and one of the best bottomless brunch offers out there - you’ll find something for everyone at Turtle Bay.
Our restaurant has a bespoke central island bar as well as open kitchen with flaming jerk-pit and grill. When visiting, check out our upstairs D’Rum room, with an outside veranda giving stunning views of Durham Castle. A perfect spot to enjoy a cocktail or two!

Celebrate Christmas with Caribbean good times. Book your party with us and choose from set menus of deliciously addictive Caribbean food, Happy Hour 2-4-1 cocktails and seriously good times that will whisk you away to paradise.
We'll be cooking up everything from mouth-watering jerk to warming curries, all perfectly paired with a FREE festive cocktail on arrival to get the party started. If you're planning for a big group, you can be sure there's something for everyone - including loads of fresh, flavour-packed vegan options and plenty of dishes that are low on spice!
Christmas menus will be available 20th November - 2nd January. Select "Caribbean Christmas" when you book. We don't take deposits for groups of 12 or less. There's a £50 deposit for 13+.
