You are here > Home > Food & Drink > The Food Pit
Come join us at The Food Pit and experience Durham’s first street food hall. You’ll find seven independent, local street food vendors offering a wide range of international foods sure to satisfy any foodie enthusiast.
Whether you’re after a coffee & a light lunch, a Thai curry, a gourmet burger, a serving of locally sourced sausages & mash, a Mediterranean inspired gyros wrap or good old fashioned British Fish & Chips we’re the place for you. Simply come along, order at whichever kiosk takes your fancy, grab a drink from our bar and find a seat.
All our traders offer vegan and vegetarian options too.
Hint: our best seats are by the window where you can enjoy the stunning backdrop of Durham Castle & Cathedral in the warmth.
