Welcome to The Curious Mr Fox, Durham’s premier destination for elegance and charm! Located in the heart of Durham City Centre with stunning views of Durham Cathedral and Castle, we offer three uniquely styled rooms, perfect for hosting sophisticated birthdays, engagements, corporate meetings, and special occasions.

Indulge in a delightful Afternoon Tea (walk-ins welcome!) or a leisurely Lunch from 12-3pm, Tuesday to Friday. On Fridays and Saturdays, savor our small plates and sharers menu, or treat yourself to a traditional Sunday Roast (12-4pm). For something extra special, join us for a Cocktail Brunch or one of our exciting Cocktail Masterclasses.

We also host engaging events such as Murder Mystery evenings, Wine & Cheese Quiz nights, Wreath Making, and Pottery workshops. After an event or gathering, unwind in our intimate, speakeasy-style Foxes Club Cocktail Bar. And don’t forget, we’re a dog-friendly venue!
