About

Haystax accessible luxury lodges are located in the peaceful surroundings of farms and woodland on the outskirts of Consett, providing a calm, tranquil space to enjoy the countryside with beautiful views in all directions. Our lodges have been designed to work for a wide range of families. Offering airy, open plan, wheelchair friendly spaces throughout, the lodges also have secure decking areas with luxurious hot tubs and comfortable outdoor furniture. A wide range of equipment can be requested to make your stay more comfortable. There are 2 accessible lodges currently in place with a further 7 to be progressively added. Chestnut Lodge sleeps 6 and is pet friendly. It provides a wide range of facilities catering for all needs including a smart automatic toilet and trundle bed. Cherry lodges sleeps 5-6 persons and is a pet free accommodation. This has the same range of facilities as Chestnut lodge and also provides a touch control massaging adjustable bed and a folding micro e-pocket sprung bed, ideal for carers or sibling sharing. 

Chestnut Lodge (sleeps 6) (pet friendly)
Chestnut lodge offers a comfortable, bright and airy, open plan accommodation with stunning views from every window. With wheelchair friendly level flooring throughout, It has a spacious kitchen, dining and living area along with 3 generous bedrooms and a family bathroom. Located off one of the bedrooms is a large en-suite wet room equipped with a smart automatic toilet. The bedroom is furnished with a trundle bed which offers an ideal sleeping arrangement for carers or sibling room sharing. Located in peaceful surroundings with a secure decking area, a luxurious hot tub and comfortable outdoor furniture to fully enjoy the calm, tranquil space.

Cherry Lodge (sleeps 5- 6) (pet free)
Cherry lodge offers a comfortable, bright and airy, open plan accommodation with stunning views from every window. With wheelchair friendly level flooring throughout, it has a spacious kitchen, dining and living area including an electric rise and fall armchair. The lodge has 3 generous bedrooms and a family bathroom. Located off one of the bedrooms is a large en-suite wet room equipped with a smart automatic toilet. The bedroom is furnished with a massaging electric adjustable bed and a folding bed with micro e pocket sprung mattress ideal for both carers or when siblings are sharing a room. Located in peaceful surroundings with a secure decking area, a luxurious hot tub and comfortable outdoor furniture to fully enjoy the calm, tranquil space.
