AboutHoused in a refurbished 19th century almshouse, Durham's World Heritage Site Visitor Centre, a free facility open seven days a week, provides visitors with an overview of the World Heritage Site and what there is to see and do in Durham City.
This Visitor Information Point offers an array of leaflets and information and internet access to official tourism websites.
Visitors also have use of a direct link telephone (free of charge to users) to the Durham Visitor Contact Centre where you can book accommodation and tickets or find out answers to more complex queries.
