This unique Visitor Information Point, situated within the Visitor Centre at Hardwick Park, is a walk-in self-serve facility offering a Touch Screen Information kiosk to enable visitors to find out more about what to see and do in Durham.
Although the VIP is unmanned, the visitor centre volunteers have extremely good knowledge of the local area and take pride in answering visitors' questions. More complex requests for assistance with things like accommodation, tickets and county-wide information will be directed to the Durham Visitor Contact Centre.
A wide range of tourist information leaflets and maps can also be picked up during normal opening hours.
