This unique Visitor Information Point, situated within the Market Hall is a walk-in, self-serve facility offering a touch screen information kiosk to enable visitors to find out more about what to see and do in Durham.
This site not only offers a modern media facility but also has a direct link telephone (free of charge to users) to the Durham Visitor Contact Centre where you can book accommodation and tickets or find out answers to more complex queries.
A wide range of tourist information leaflets can also be picked up during normal opening hours.
More complex requests for assistance with things like accommodation, tickets and county-wide information can be directed to the Durham Visitor Contact Centre.
*Please note that this Visitor Information Point is not manned and does not offer a full scale tourist information service.
