Make it a Christmas to remember with a special screening of the much-loved film. The Snowman, shown on the big screen with its unforgettable soundtrack performed live by a professional orchestra.

Presented by Carrot Productions — the world’s leading performers of The Snowman with live orchestra — this award-winning show features some of the UK’s finest musicians, creating a truly magical festive experience for audiences of all ages.

As an extra festive treat, performances also include Fleece Navidad, a hilarious Shaun the Sheep Christmas short film, accompanied live by the musicians.

The fun continues with a joyful festive medley, a lively introduction to the orchestra by CBeebies Musical Storyland composer Daniel Whibley, a special visit from The Snowman himself, and the chance for everyone to join in singing Walking in the Air at the end of the show.

Please note that there will be a road closure in place during the concert for the Durham Christmas Festival.  This means that there will be no vehicle access to the Cathedral for parking or drop-off.
