This Easter, celebrate all things spring at Ushaw, where fresh air, creativity, and family fun come together in one beautiful place.

Daily, 10am – 4pm:

Digital Interactive Trail – Uncover fascinating facts about Ushaw’s past and meet some of its historical figures. Through interactive digital storytelling, you’ll hear directly from the workers and residents who helped shape Ushaw, revealing their extraordinary stories, secrets, and daily life within these historic walls. Download the app prior to your visit.

Spring Things Garden Trail – Around the garden, you will find all sorts of spring things, how many can you find on your way round?

St. Cuthbert’s Cross Indoor Trail – Explore Ushaw’s magnificent house and chapels to locate the crosses of St. Cuthbert.

Toy Takeover (excluding Fri 3 & Sat 4 April) – Our Toy Takeovers are back for Easter, as we’ll have with heaps of track and trains for your young engineers to construct and play to their hearts content.

Springtime Stories & Crafts | Tue 7 & Mon 13 April, 11am – 12pm & 1:30pm – 2:30pm
Join us for a magical Tales and Craft Session where imagination comes to life!
At 11am or 1:30pm, entry included with admission and membership.

Create & Crafts – Beads and Keyrings | Weds 8 & Thurs 16 April, 10:30am – 12:30pm & 1:30pm – 3pm
A hands-on, crafty workshop where children can design and make their very own friendship bracelets and beaded keyrings.
Drop-in, entry included with admission and membership.

Young Stitchers | Saturday 18 April
Come and join us for sewing skills and stitching fun.
