Play with light, photography and the world of dreams with artist Tine Bech. Our café will transform into a bar and dance floor, with themed drinks and DJ beats from DJ Awkward Black Girl.

Dreaming of You:
Dreaming of You will transform The Green Room into a playful, immersive landscape of light, sound, and shifting colour. Featuring floating illuminated clouds and a soundscape created from children's voices, dreams and questions about technology, AI and the future, the installation invites you to reconnect with curiosity, imagination, and play, while exploring young people's perspectives on the digital world and the invisible networks that shape our lives.

Drawing with Light:
Drawing with Light steps you into a world where light becomes art. Throughout the evening, you are invited to create unique light drawings using long-exposure photography. Developed from techniques pioneered by Dr Tine Bech, this engaging experience captures trails of movement and light that cannot be seen in real time, resulting in beautiful and unexpected photographic artworks. Get playful, experiment, create, and see the invisible made visible.

DJ beats:
Born in the south but at home in the North, DJ Awkward Black Girl loves to play music and get people dancing with a mix of RnB, Soul, Funk, Garage, Hip Hop, Disco, Dance, House, Funk, Disco and much more. Expect a nostalgic party vibe with a contemporary twist.
