The Centre’s qualified and professional staff run ‘real activities’ for our guests including underground exploration, canoeing on the River Wear, rock climbing and gorge walking. We provide activities to wide variety of groups including schools, youth groups, scout groups, hen / stag groups and also welcome family and friends groups.
We offer a multitude of activities and packages ranging from day activities to residential stays. We are in a fortunate position of being able to offer bespoke and custom programmes to all clients, these can take place on-site, locally within the Weardale area, or even further afield such as the Lake District.
Just some of the activities we currently offer;
Accreditation – We are licensed through the Adventurous Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) (details of which can be obtained from AALA on 020 2075 5715), and we also hold a full Learning Outside the Classroom Badge. All staff are fully DBS checked prior to employment.
