Surrounded by the County Durham countryside, it gives larger groups the opportunity to stay together while still enjoying the privacy and setting that Rest at the Nest is known for.

The Covey is also dog friendly, making it a great option for those wanting to bring their four-legged family members along too.

Rest at the Nest is tucked away in the County Durham countryside at Hurworth Burn Reservoir, while still being within easy reach of Durham City and the wider North East. It makes an ideal base for combining days exploring the region with time back at your own countryside retreat

Perfect for families and groups, the house offers spacious and well-equipped accommodation with a family bathroom featuring a bath and separate shower, plus an additional WC. At its heart is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with a large table and panoramic countryside views, complete with a range oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso machine. The adjoining lounge provides a cosy space to unwind, featuring a wood-burning stove, Smart TV with Netflix, DVD player, books, board games and magazines.

Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden with a hot tub, BBQ, outdoor dining area and hammock, while children are catered for with an outdoor play area, indoor toys and games. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi throughout, a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities, ample parking, and family-friendly extras such as cots, highchairs, bed guards, a baby bath and potty available on request.

The house accommodates up to 12 adults, with five bedrooms, plus a double sofa bed and an additional folding guest bed suitable for a child under 12. The bedrooms include:

•           Two double bedrooms (one king, one standard double).

•           Two twin bedrooms (one can convert into a super king).
