Welcome to Huckleberry Cottage, a charming countryside retreat nestled in the peaceful Beamish conservation valley. Just a short 2–3 minute stroll to the renowned Black Horse Beamish Pub & Restaurant, and only minutes from the iconic Beamish Museum and Tanfield Railway Museum, this cottage is the perfect base for exploring the beauty and history of the North East. Surrounding the cottage you will find an abundance of wildlife and rare birds such as deers and red kites.
Dog Friendly
We welcome well-behaved dogs for a £30 surcharge per stay. Please note: Dogs must be supervised at all times and are not permitted on beds or furniture. The area offers plenty of beautiful countryside walks your dog will love! Large open garden. (Not enclosed) We kindly ask you to clean up after your dog and use the bins provided. Want to dine out with your dog? No problem. Our bar area at the Black Horse Beamish Country Pub & Restaurant is dog friendly. You will find dog treats, poo bags and water bowls by the entrance to the bar.
