About

Bonners Lodge, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the edge of the Durham Dales close to the Waskerley Way, Derwent Reservoir, Beamish Open Air Museum, Wolsingham and Durham.  We offer 2 luxurious ensuite rooms and quality home-cooked food in peaceful surroundings.

Meet the Bonners Animals 

Meet and interact with all of the animals, ride Ray the donkey, take Merlin and Sunny the Alpacas for a walk around the site, play with our 6 pygmy goats and take Sheamus our Blacknose Swiss Valley sheep and Hugo and Henry our dutch zwartble sheep for a walk. Not forgetting Rosie our Irish draft mare and Rusty the Shetland.

Our guests will always enjoy a warm and friendly welcome and accommodation of a very high standard. Relax in one of our luxurious centrally heated bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, warmed fluffy towels, comfortable beds with exquisite Egyptian cotton sheets.  We have a selection of DVDs, board games and books for your enjoyment or simply enjoy the peace and tranquillity at Bonners Lodge.

We offer Bed & Breakfast with the option of Ham, Cheese, salad and homemade bread sharing platter available using locally sourced products. Free Wi-Fi available. Private off road parking and secure overnight storage for bicycles. Children, dog, and horse friendly.

We have a Visit England 5 Star rating along with a Breakfast award and have just achieved a Visit England Rose award for outstanding customer service. We have also won a Prestige business award for the best B & B in the North East for the last 2 years.
