Experience the Spookier Side of Beamish!
Step into the The Un-living Museum of the North this Halloween, where the past comes alive… in a most unexpected way.
Enjoy a night of frightfully fun family activities in our 1950s welfare hall, and stay on your toes for chilling entertainment that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat.
As dusk falls on our cobbled Edwardian street, it’s not just the usual townsfolk you'll encounter — the place is crawling with new residents.
Don’t forget to tuck in and delight in the spooky offerings from Herron’s Bakery, Jubilee Sweet Shop, and The Sun Inn.
Start your spooky evening early and join us for a special Halloween film in our 1950s Grand cinema beforehand! Exclusively available to Halloween Evening event ticket holders, arrive early and kick start your evening with a film, before exploring the museum from 5pm.
Additional Cinema cost: £5 per person.

Event Cinema tickets must be accompanied by Halloween Evening entry tickets for the same evening. These tickets must be pre-booked online (subject to availability) and will not be available to buy at the museum. Beamish Unlimited Passes and Friends of Beamish memberships are not valid for evening events. If you arrive for your Cinema booking and have not pre-purchased Evening event tickets for the same evening, you will not be able to purchase on the night and your Cinema tickets will not be applicable for refund.
Please note: For the duration of the film screening, guests will be required to remain inside the cinema building, whilst the museum is being transformed for a Halloween-themed event. If you choose or need to leave before 5pm, you will be escorted to the main entrance and re-join the queue for the evening event.
