Any images or videos we use will always be credited you as the creator.

How to get involved – 3 simple steps…

1. Capture Durham
   Snap photos or shoot video of the places, people, moments, food, events and landscapes that make Durham special to you.
2. Share on social media
   Post your content on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok (or whichever platform you prefer). Use our hashtag #LoveDurham, or tag us at @thisisdurham
3. Grant us permission
   If we feel your content does a great job of showcasing the county, we’ll reach out to ask your permission (via direct message or in the comments). Once you say yes, we’ll share it with proper credit, as well as featuring your content across our website and promotional content.

Top Tips for submitting content 

• Original photography or video owned by the person submitting
• Good quality — clear, well-composed images help
• Avoid duplicates or very similar shots
• Respect privacy — if people are recognisable, get their permission before sharing with us
• Respect copyright — no unlicensed music or third-party content if submitting video
