Climb inside Flying Scotsman's cab while it's on static display, where you can marvel at its intricate controls and many pipes and gauges.

Guests will be treated to a drinks reception on arrival and time to mingle with the curator before starting your special curator-led tour showcasing the history of the Flying Scotsman service and the legendary locomotive itself.

This is a special evening with limited numbers to give a personal experience.

Looking for the experience of a lifetime? Climb onto Flying Scotsman's footplate while it's in full steam running on our historic railway line to experience the sights, sounds and smells of serious steam power. You'll be on board for around 30 minutes, where you can chat to the driver and fireman for two runs up and down our section of S&DR line.
