Award winning football centre in Stanley to host its first beer festival.

Beamish Football Centre in Stanley will host its first beer festival ‘Local brews and canny views’ this week starting Thursday 2nd October for four days with the final day being Sunday 5th October 2025. 

Those attending will have the chance to try over 25 of some of the region’s best cask beers, ales, stouts and ciders. The event provides a great opportunity to catch up with friends and family with live music from local artists, a food stall and fundraising activities. 

The event will take place at Beamish Football Centre that recently gained the award of Retrofit Winner at the Constructing Excellence North East Awards 2025 for their state-of-the-art building. 

Organisers, Stanley Events, are looking forward to hosting their first beer festival. 

The beer festival will take place at Beamish Football Centre, Tyne Road, Stanley, County Durham, DH9 6PZ. Tickets are available from Beamish Football Centre, walk ups on the day are also available or via  Tickets: Beamish Football Centre Beer Festival | Beamish Football Centre Stanley Fri 03 October 2025. Tickets are £5. This includes a programme, branded reusable glass and 2 half pint drinks tokens. The beer festival will take place on Thursday 2nd October 1pm to late, Friday 3rd October 1pm to late, Saturday 4th October 11am to late and Sunday 5th October 2025, 11am-4pm.
