The best jewellery stories deserve to be told with skill. PeaceGold is opening our doors on 26th–27th April for a two-day deep dive into wax carving, led by master of the craft, Russell Lownsbrough FIPG.

Whether you've never touched carving wax or you're a professional looking to troubleshoot complex pieces, there is a seat for you. This is a space to slow down, share knowledge and refine your sculptural technique alongside fellow makers.

"I specialise in wax carving [sculpture for jewellery] and have written a very successful book on the subject. On graduating from Central St. Martins in '91 with a degree in Jewellery Design, I set up my own studio immediately.

"I'm best known for figurative work and tiny detail, and for being the first person in the world to specialise in gold body-piercing jewellery. I have worked for almost every major UK jewellery company.

"I am a Fellow and former Chair of the Institute of Professional Goldsmiths, and a Judge and Council member for The Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council."
