Join us for an evening of horrors at the Grand Cinema, Beamish Museum, as we show the original version of Nosferatu, accompanied by a live score played by Stuart Angus. The spooky evening will be accompanied by Vampire Cupcakes, Bloody Raspberry Lemonade and a goody bag to remember your evening with.
F W Murnau’s horror classic, Nosferatu, was the first screen adaption of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Featuring an iconic turn by Max Schreck as Count Orlok, this is your chance to see Nosferatu as it was meant to be seen, surrounded by the historic setting of the Grand cinema at Beamish, and accompanied by a live pianist. Be transported to the past and relive the horror classic that is Nosferatu.

Tickets for Grand Cinema Events must be pre-booked online (subject to availability) and will not be available to buy at the museum. Beamish Unlimited Passes and Friends of Beamish memberships are not valid for this event.
Unallocated seating, we will do our best to seat you together, but in order to provide an authentic experience we have kept the cinema as unreserved seating.
If you have booked a carers ticket, evidence of eligibility for carers status must be shown at the point of admission, examples of evidence include Blue Badge, Access Card, PIP letter, Government issued Disability card or equivalent.
Free parking is available in the main car park.
You will be able to enter the museum from 4pm on the day of your show time. Please show your Grand cinema ticket at the Entrance. Head to The 1950s Town for 5pm as the rest of the museum will be closed. For entry prior to this time a Beamish Unlimited Pass will be required for each person.
Service transport will be running. If you enter the museum after 5pm. You must get the bus service down to the cinema. At the end of the showing, there will be a bus service to take you back up to the entrance.
You’ll be able to enter the Grand cinema at 5pm.
No animals are allowed within the Grand cinema, except for assistance dogs.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Grand cinema tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative date or event.
