Chester-le-EATS returns for its milestone fifth anniversary in 2026, bringing its biggest celebration yet to Chester-le-Street.

Marking five years of flavour, this much-loved North East Food, Drink & Music Festival will bring together over 40 traders, serving everything from street food favourites and sweet treats to craft drinks and artisan produce.

New for 2026, festivalgoers can get even closer to the flavour with a series of exclusive, bookable food & drink Masterclasses. Join local experts from Hen & Hops, Crush Wine Bar and Tin of Sardines for intimate beer & wing, wine & food, and gin tasting experiences, with places priced at £35 per person.

Set against the backdrop of Durham Cricket in Chester-le-Street, expect a vibrant weekend of live music, entertainment, incredible food and plenty of festival atmosphere across both days.

With free entry, Chester-le-EATS makes the perfect day out for families, groups of friends and dedicated foodies alike – and it's dog-friendly too, so even four-legged food lovers can join the celebrations!
