Imagine having your dream wedding in a 12th Century Manor House, the perfect wedding venue near Darlington and Durham, just 10 minutes away from each in the beautiful village of West Auckland.

A family owned Manor House Hotel, we pride ourselves on friendly customer care and high quality food. With our beautiful wedding garden, our hotel makes any wedding album one that you will want to view again and again.

We only host ONE wedding per day, ensuring that you are the only bride and groom at the hotel, and included in your tailor made wedding package is:
- A personalised service tailoring your wedding reception to your exact requirements.
- Exclusive use of the wedding garden grounds for your photographs, making the perfect backdrop for your photo
- Free parking for all your guests

Wedding Open Days and Evenings

Our wedding Open Days and Evenings are the perfect opportunity to come along and view the hotel dressed for a wedding reception and civil ceremony. In a relaxed atmosphere - no appointment is necessary - and with the offer of a free glass of wine, you can get a flavour of how our team will work to make your special day bespoke to you and memorable in every way.

You can meet our dedicated wedding team, view The Knights’ Hall and other facilities, consider room layouts and decorations, study our wedding packages, discuss your timings and ask any questions you may have.​
