Calder's Kitchen was formed by husband and wife team Andrew and Anne-Marie Calder in 2015. We started making Piccalilli in our family kitchen after discovering Andrew's late Granddad, Charlie's favourite family recipe and deciding to 'give it a go'. After quickly realising our classic, traditional condiment was vastly different from modern day mainstream piccalilli we developed our Chillililli (piccalilli with a sweet chilli glow, winner of a Guild of Fine Food Great Taste award in 2020) and Indian spiced Sillylilli, which also won a Great Taste award last year.
Since 2016 we have been supplying our premium products into independent food shops across the North East and Yorkshire and are currently listed in over 120 shops. We still love to attend food festivals and markets and now have an online shop which has been more popular than ever over the last 12 months! All of our products are Vegan-friendly, low in fat, gluten free and are used by people who follow the Slimming World weight loss plan.
