About

Welcome to our award winning restaurant - serving the best local produce from the North East of England.

The award winning kitchen produces modern British food that reflects the fabulous local and seasonal produce of the region, including ingredients from the Hall's own kitchen garden. Headlam Hall has a working farm so we understand the importance of strong relationships with local suppliers and provenance to give us traceability and confidence in the ingredients we use.

There is a choice of private dining rooms in the Main Hall for up to 30 diners and larger events can be catered for in the Coach House Suite located across the courtyard which is a self contained venue for up to 120 people.

The Library Bar with its wall of books, framed historic deeds and eclectic feel is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and we offer an excellent selection of local beers as well as fine wines from around the world. It is also possible to eat in this room should you wish and it is dog-friendly.

Afternoon tea is served in the charming Main Hall Lounge which features antique furnishings and a huge carved oak fireplace.
