Two thousand years of history, myth and legend rush by in 90 minutes as we join young Arthur on his epic quest. Rebellions, wars, magic, majesty, celebration and heartache are vividly brought to ground-shaking life in a dazzling outdoor-theatre spectacular.
From Boudicca’s battles with the Romans to two world wars, via Vikings, Tudors and the fate of Charles I, Kynren’s a spellbinding, family-friendly experience delivering thrills, shocks, tears, laughs, goosebumps and gasps on a truly cinematic scale.
Gates open at least two and a half hours before the start of each show. Guests arriving in good time will be able to get food and drinks from our Food Court and Bar, or visitors can upgrade to our exclusive pre-show dining experience, offering them the chance to enjoy a three-course meal in the spectacular Arches Hall at the heart of the Kynren site. Pre-dinner drinks can be purchased from our bar on an exclusive lakeside terrace with views of Auckland Palace.
New for 2024 - Travel back in time and visit the Viking Village! You'll be able to talk and interact with the villagers as they go about their daily lives, visit the cookhouse, see them tend to the animals, prepare meals and watch the blacksmith at work in his forge producing real chainmail! Just be careful as the Viking warriors are preparing for a raid!
The Viking Village will open as part of the pre-show entertainment at Kynren this season.
