Through the eyes of young Arthur, a local boy on a time-travelling quest, you’ll witness the might of the Roman Empire, Boudicca’s doomed rebellion, Viking invasions, knights jousting for glory, and the grandeur of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.

From the rise of industry to the courage of communities during wartime, Kynren brings history vividly to life.

Performed on a 7.5 acre stage by a passionate cast and crew of 1000, Kynren dazzles with stunning choreography, breathtaking stunts, equestrian feats, pyrotechnics, and original, emotive music. It’s a spellbinding journey through time that celebrates the resilience, courage, and ordinary people in extra-ordinary times.

Arrive early and explore the Viking village – an authentic recreation of a 9th-century dwelling. Meet the warriors as they prepare for a raid, visit the cookhouse, meet the animals, watch sparks fly at the forge, and discover traditional crafts.
