The interior of an Anglo Saxon church, with white stone walls and hanging round lights.

About

The church was built in the 7th century. Have a free guided tour of this ancient, Anglo-Saxon Church, where you can learn about its history and heritage. Tours will run every half hour.

This is one of the most ancient Celtic-style churches in the UK, built around 680AD. There is a historical exhibition in the porch. Free guided tours of the church are available on Saturday 12th September from 2pm to 5pm, and on Sunday 13th September from 2pm to 4pm. The guided tours run every half hour, and evensong is at 4pm on the Sunday only.
