Ayclive Festival is a vibrant, community-driven music event in Newton Aycliffe, organised by dedicated volunteers passionate about live entertainment and local pride. Created to celebrate the town's 75th anniversary, its inaugural event took place on July 29, 2023, at OakLeaf Sports Field. The line-up featured well-known acts like Cast and Dodgy alongside local favourites such as Sound Divide, blending established and emerging talent to create an inclusive, energetic atmosphere for all ages.

A core principle of the festival is giving back. Profits are reinvested into the following year, ensuring the event has a lasting positive impact on the community. Beyond music, attendees can enjoy a variety of food stalls, a lively bar area, and family-friendly activities, making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Run entirely by volunteers, the festival reflects a shared passion for music and community spirit. With its welcoming atmosphere and charitable focus, Ayclive Festival has quickly become a cherished annual event.

Looking ahead, the next festival is planned for July 24–25, 2026, with organisers aiming to expand the line-up and attractions while staying true to its mission of uniting people through music and supporting local causes.
