Broom House Farm Butchery

Broom House Farm is a family farm situated high above the Browney River Valley and overlooking Durham. We breed, rear and sell our own meat and the breeds we farm have been chosen for their eating qualities. Well-marbled Aberdeen Angus Beef is hung for 21 days enhancing taste and tenderness. Saddleback pork has superb flavour and amazing crackling. Lleyn sheep originate from North Wales, produce succulent lamb and are ideally suited to the organic system. Our mutton is tender and full of flavour.

Animal health and welfare are priorities. We are undergoing organic conservation of hay meadows, ponds and hedgerows. We take our animals to local family run abattoirs to minimise stress. People travel miles to get their hands on our range of additional pork, beef and lamb sausages. We use natural casings and the best meat for our scrummiest sausages.
