A Magical Evening at Raby. Join us for a truly special evening as we celebrate the Summer Solstice and mark one year since the opening of The Rising — our beautifully restored Walled Gardens and new visitor spaces.
For one night only, we’re keeping the gates open later than usual to let you experience Raby in the most magical light of the year. As the sun dips lower in the sky, the gardens, castle, and parkland come alive in a completely new way — golden, peaceful, and glowing with summer colour.
This is a rare opportunity to explore Raby at a time of day it’s not usually open — and we can’t wait to welcome you.

Our stunning Walled Gardens, lit by golden hour
The Vinery and its beautiful views of the Castle
The Coach House Shop, open for late-night browsing
The Deer Park, with the chance to spot deer at sunset
Food & Drink
Settle in and enjoy freshly made, wood-fired pizza, served from our pop-up on the Vinery Terrace:
Saturday: 12:00 – 7:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am – 3:00pm
The Vinery will stay open until 7:00pm Saturday, with its usual food offering available until 6:30pm. The Garage will also be open until 7:00pm, with light refreshments available.
Pair your meal with a refreshing summer drink, a glass of wine, or a scoop of local Brymore ice cream—because treats aren’t just for kids.
