About

Ayclive Festival 2025: A Two-Day Extravaganza of Music, Community, and Fun.

We're thrilled to announce that Ayclive Festival is back for its third year, bigger and better than ever! By popular demand, we're expanding to a two-day event, taking place on Friday 25th July and Saturday 26th July 2025. Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of music, community spirit, and family-friendly entertainment in the heart of Newton Aycliffe, County Durham.

A Musical Journey Through Time
Step into a vibrant musical tapestry at Ayclive Festival 2025! Over two exhilarating days, you'll experience a kaleidoscope of sounds spanning six incredible decades. Our stage is a musical time machine, weaving effortlessly between eras and genres. Imagine grooving to Motown soul one moment, then rocking out to 80s anthems the next, before losing yourself in the best of Britpop. From the swinging 60s to today's chart-toppers, we've curated a lineup that celebrates the greatest hits across generations.

Friday Night: Dance the Night Away
Kick off your Ayclive experience with our electrifying Friday night DJ event, running from 7 pm to 11 pm. Headlining the evening is Clubland Reborn, prepare for the ultimate Clubland live experience like you've never seen before! Clubland Reborn has been blowing away audiences nationwide with their exciting and unforgettable live shows.

Supporting acts throughout the evening will include popular North East-based DJs, ensuring the beats keep pumping and the energy stays high. It's the perfect way to start your weekend and get into the Ayclive spirit!

Saturday: A Full Day of Family-Friendly Fun
Saturday brings a full day of family-friendly entertainment, running from 12 noon to 11 pm. We're excited to announce that our headline act is none other than the legendary Nik Kershaw! With a career spanning over four decades, Nik Kershaw has solidified his place in music history. Known for his distinctive voice and innovative song writing, Kershaw has given us timeless hits like "Wouldn't It Be Good," "I Won't Let the Sun Go Down on Me," and "The Riddle." His performance with his full live band, promises to be the highlight of the festival, bringing both nostalgia and musical excellence to the Ayclive stage.

Throughout the day, we've lined up a great mix of the most popular local and regional cover bands, including:
– The Overthinkers
– Tamla Allstars
– The Fourmost
– Skaboom UK
– That's So 90's
– Kieser Monkey Killers
-The Breakfast Club

By popular demand, The Breakfast Club returns to the Ayclive stage for a second time. After their much-loved performance in 2023, they've gone on to support huge gigs and sell out their own performances all over the UK. We're thrilled to welcome them back to Newton Aycliffe!

More Than Just Music
Ayclive Festival 2025 is about more than just great music – it's a complete entertainment experience for the whole family.

The Disco Circus Big Top makes a triumphant return, offering plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. Try your hand at circus skills in our live workshops, or lose yourself in the beat at our silent discos – a perfect alternative when you need a break from the main stage.

Stilt walkers will roam the festival grounds, adding a touch of whimsy and wonder to the atmosphere. Keep your eyes peeled for other surprises throughout the day – we love to keep our attendees on their toes!

Feast Your Senses
No festival is complete without great food, and at Ayclive 2025, you'll be spoilt for choice. We've teamed up with Baccanalia, the minds behind the much-loved and well-attended street food markets in Newton Aycliffe town centre this summer. Expect a diverse array of culinary delights that will satisfy every palate and dietary requirement.

Community at Our Core
At its heart, Ayclive Festival is all about community. It's about bringing people together to dance, sing, and create memories that will last a lifetime. As a not-for-profit CIC, we're committed to keeping ticket prices as affordable as possible, ensuring that everyone in our community can join in the fun.

Ayclive isn't just a music festival – it's a celebration of Newton Aycliffe and the wider County Durham area. It's about showcasing local talent alongside national acts, supporting local businesses, and providing a fantastic summer event right here in our own backyard.

Why Ayclive 2025 is a Must-Attend Event
1. Two Days of Non-Stop Entertainment: With our expansion to a two-day event, there's more music, more fun, and more memories to be made than ever before.
