The Morritt is a Grade II Listed 17thC Country House Hotel with traditional values and warm, attentive staff. Ideally situated just off the A66 Trans Pennine Route (9 miles west of Scotch Corner), set in the tranquil hamlet of Greta Bridge.
Our contemporary a la carte Gilroy's Restaurant has an excellent reputation for food as well as an award-winning wine list with over 100 bins to choose from. We use locally sourced or home-grown produce in all our dishes whenever possible.
As well as the restaurant diners can enjoy a meal in the Bistro surrounded by pictures from local artists, enjoy real ale and freshly prepared bar snacks in The Dickens Bar or relax in one of the many lounges with a traditional afternoon tea served on Royal Albert china.
