Cross Lanes Organic Farm is an eco-friendly centre compromising of a cafe-restaurant, delicatessen, butchers and general store focusing on living in a sustainable way. We are committed to ensuring the least possible impact on the environment and hold sustainable practice at the heart of everything we do. At Cross Lanes consumers will be able to obtain organic foods, which are produced as nature intended, using sustainable farming techniques with no chemicals or genetically modified products, focusing on animal welfare and a strong emphasis on protecting the environment. We have achieved organic certification from Soil Association working to their standards, and have a licence for growing, catering and processing. The site features a number of green credentials including living proof, solar panels, air source heat pumps, straw bale insulation, rain water harvesting system, a reed bed, composting toilets and green electricity, to name but a few.
