Type: Nature Reserve
Forty hectare nature reserve with nature trail, bird hides, observatory, woodland, ponds, meadow, lake and river. Facilities within the reserve include disabled access, picnic area, butterfly garden, pond-dipping platforms and bird feeding-station.
The visitor centre provides toilets, a shop and a cafe selling light refreshments, trust goods and souvenirs.
There is access to the reserve at any time. The visitor centre is open 10:00-16:00 daily in the summer and at weekends in the winter.
