The Granary offers self-catering accommodation for a family of four in the attractively converted stable and granary at Todds House Farm. This is a small grass and cereal farm pleasantly situated on a country lane, one mile from Sedgefield with its shops, pubs, restaurants and fine 13thC church. For additional guests, bed and breakfast accommodation is available next door in the 200-year-old farmhouse.
Judith and Sam, the resident owners, are happy to advise you on what to do in the area and can provide maps of local footpaths and cycle tracks. Judith is a qualified tour guide. fluent in German and French and can offer guided tours of the region.
Sedgefield is an excellent centre from which to sample the variety of North Eastern England. Relax in the Granary garden, walk round Durham with its magnificent Norman Cathedral or tour the wilder parts of Teesdale and Weardale.
