The winner(s) will be drawn at random by the Promoter (Visit County Durham) within four working days of the competition closing date. The winner(s) will be notified by email within one week of the winner being drawn. The winner(s) must notify Visit County Durham of their acceptance of the prize within five working days of notification. In the event of non-response or non-acceptance within the specified time period, the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to the next randomly drawn valid entry.

  • Passes are valid for daytime events only.
  • Passes will be valid for one year from date of issue.
  • The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

Lumley Castle Hotel 
  • Subject to availability at time of booking.
  • Not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • Advance booking required by phone.
  • Offer not valid in conjunction with any other promotion.
  • Prize must be redeemed by 30.11.2026
The Auckland Project
  • Prize Redemption: Please redeem your prize before 31 July 2026.
  • Prize can only be redeemed once and is non-transferable cannot be exchanged for cash. 
  • The Bishop’s Key is valid for entry to our attractions, including Auckland Palace, Gardens, Faith Museum, Spanish Gallery and Mining Art Gallery, and exclude access to ticketed events, workshops and talks.
Kynren An Epic Tale of England 
  • Prize must be claimed by 28 February 2026 
  • Valid for any night show performance in 2026, subject to availability
  • Cannot be used with any other offer and does not include travel costs or car parking
