Get value from your visit to Durham with new autumn Durham Deals.

Visit County Durham has teamed up with leading visitor attractions, accommodation providers, restaurants and shops to offer fantastic deals to help you enjoy great value short breaks and fun days out in Durham this autumn.

Durham Deals are downloadable vouchers offering savings at more than 35 visitor attractions, restaurants and shops, as well as discounts at the leading hotels, cottages and B&B’s.

The deals include three nights for the price of two on short break stays, two-for-one entry and children go free at attractions and savings on eating out such as a complimentary bottle of house wine or 10 per cent off the cost of the bill.

Melanie Sensicle, chief executive of Visit County Durham, said: “The recession is still a concern for everyone at present, and with more and more people deciding to stay at home rather than take foreign holidays, Durham Deals means everyone, especially families, can enjoy great value short breaks and fun days-out.”

Participating attractions include World Heritage Site Durham Castle, The Bowes Museum, Beamish Wild, Tanfield Railway and Hall Hill Farm.

Participating restaurants include TasteDurham award-winners Oldfields and Seaham Hall's Ozone and White Rooom restaurants.

Participating hotels include 5-star Seaham Hall and 4-star Durham Marriott, plus guest houses, B&B's and self catering properties across the county.
