We're Good To Go

As lockdown eases and we start to spend more time outdoors this summer, we are asking all visitors to #Lovedurham safely and please be responsible when exploring Durham’s beautiful countryside, parks and open spaces.

In order to keep our visitors safe, VisitBritain in partnership with the UK’s national tourist organisations, has launched ‘We’re Good to Go’, and the AA has also launched its AA COVID Confident assessment scheme. Both are industry standard marks  which indicates that a participating establishment has in place the necessary risk assessment, safety measures and staff training to re-open safely, in line with the UK’s respective government guidelines as they are published.
