Whilst the Durham Park and Ride service allows you to travel to the heart of historic Durham City with ease car-free.
Durham City also has a bus which runs to and from the Cathedral. The bus picks up and drops off at various locations across the city including Durham Train Station and Framwellgate Waterside (just outside the Radisson Blu Hotel Durham) taking you direct to Durham's UNESCO World Heritage Site - Monday to Saturday (Sundays summertime only).
