We are a not-for-profit group offering family friendly tours of Durham City for families, genealogists and historians. Our tours are free for Scout groups, charities and education establishments, but private tours with a theme and time of your choice can be booked at a very competitive price, Guest speakers can also be provided for local history groups on a wide variety of subjects concerning the history of Durham.
Tour themes include" Horrid History of Durham" aimed at younger tourists, "Money for Old Rope: The Last Days of Mary Ann Cotton" and "Ghost Hunter" our unique ghost walk using ghost hunting equipment. "The First Banner of St Cuthbert" is the extraordinary story of the early days of Christianity in the North East.
