Louis Roberts plays Salty in Teechers at the gala theatre Durham
Meet Louis Roberts aka Salty

Louis is absolutely thrilled to be performing in Teechers at The Durham Gala. He grew up in sunny Teesside and went to secondary school at Egglescliffe Comprehensive.

After recently finishing a Christmas tour, Louis has been taking a bit of a break from professional face pulling and getting to grips with life behind the scenes in the theatre world and training under Gillian Hambleton at Northumberland Theatre Company as Associate Director, but when the opportunity to audition for a show like Teechers came along, he jumped at the chance.

Previous shows Louis has worked on include: Apples and Peter Pan, The Machine Gunners, Dracula the Travesty, Beauty and the Beast and The Comedy of Errors.

Louis would like to think it will take some of the audience back in time and that they'll think and reminisce about their own time in school. He also hopes everyone has a lovely time!

Catch Teechers at the Gala Theatre, Durham City from Monday 6 - Saturday 11 May.
