On the 18th and 19th of August, Hardwick Hall will be taken over by the North East’s biggest music festival. Sporting a Main Stage with impressive headline acts and The Discovery Stage proffering the best in new music, DJs and more, tickets are still available for this exciting event that is not to be missed!

This festival of music, comedy and culture will have more attractions for younger audiences this year, with rides suitable for all ages along with storytelling, magic shows, face painting and pottery making; all ensuring a great day out for families.

For more adult tastes, Hardwick Live promises an extravagant Champagne Marquee, Gin Palace, mojitos, Pimm’s and a 30 metre-long bar. This, combined with a whole array of great food means Hardwick Live, in the heart of Durham is quickly becoming a landmark event in the festival calendar.

Ocean Colour Scene headlines Hardwick Live Festival

Who’s Headlining?

Leading the charge for a day filled with live music is Ocean Colour Scene. Having achieved seventeen Top 40 singles and five Top 10 albums, they need no introduction for their eclectic mix of English and Indie Rock, joined by frontman of the Libertines and indie-icon Peter Doherty, the full star-studded line up can be seen here.

Going Mad for Madness

Taking place on the Friday night, Madness will unleash their signature sound across the grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel, overlooking the picturesque Hardwick Park Lake. Supported by Smoove & Turrell, the Madness crew are sure to deliver a sensational set featuring some of their greatest known tracks.
