Leave A1 at jct 62 signposted Consett. From Durham follow A691 to Consett. Travel through Lanchester and follow signs to Shotley Bridge (down Blackhill Bank). At bottom of bank turn sharp left onto Shotley Grove Road. Follow road, keeping to right at fork. House at end of lane.
From A68, leave A68 at Castleside and travel on to A692 and into Consett. Follow signs to Shotley Bridge, down Blackhill Bank, and continue as above.
